Job summary

Truist in Wilmington, NC is seeking a regular full-time Banker/Client Service role focused on timely completion of client transactions and accurate record-keeping. You will deliver superior service, uncover client needs, and educate customers on digital banking.

The position supports outbound outreach, IRM activities, and cross-training to assist with sales and service. You will work 1st shift, with weekend hours and occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years teller, cash handling, or client service experience.
• Six months client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use PC keyboard and branch automation software.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office tools.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing or locale changes.
• Weekend and extended hours availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide distinctive client experience and handle complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service tools like ATMs and mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
