The role handles month-end closings, cash management, and financial reporting while coordinating with the Client Accounting Analyst and wealth management teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of five years accounting experience, nonprofit/private foundations
• Knowledge of GAAP and FASB standards applicable to nonprofit organizations and private foundations
• Knowledge and experience with Form 990/990-PF

Responsibilities

• Maintain nonprofit and private foundation client records and ledgers
• Prepare month-end and year-end closings and financial reports
• Coordinate bill payment and invoices in line with internal controls
• Reconcile investment and endowment accounts and track restricted funds
• Support payroll and client tax reporting; respond to auditors and donors
• Maintain organized client accounting files and documentation
