The Senior Staff Accountant at Alaska Community Foundation is a key member of the finance team, supporting the Controller in daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and fund accounting.

This in-office role requires collaboration with two Accounting Technicians, ensuring accuracy in transactions, grant management, and compliance with GAAP and nonprofit regulations.

You will contribute to process improvements and provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree or eight+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in nonprofit or fund accounting preferred.
• Experience with grant management and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily accounting operations and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank and investment accounts monthly.
• Assist with financial reporting and fund statements.
