Snoqualmie Valley Health is seeking an Accounting Assistant to manage Foundation accounting records, reconciliations, journal entries, and donor-restricted funds with high accuracy and confidentiality.

The role also provides backup payroll support and assists with month-end and year-end close, audits, and reporting. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of nonprofit accounting are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit, Foundation, or healthcare accounting preferred.
• Experience with donor-restricted funds, grants, and month-end close required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Foundation accounting is complete and accurate, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain Foundation financial records confidentiality and documentation integrity.
• Reconcile bank accounts, investments, receivables, and grants in a timely manner.
• Assist with payroll backup and SVH payroll processes as needed.
• Prepare draft filings and financial schedules for leadership review and submission.
• Support donor reporting, restricted funds tracking, and fundraising accounting.
