Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Ohio-based team, focusing on Secure Networking, data center, and security. The role involves partnering with Account Executives in a pre-sales function, delivering technical demonstrations, presenting solutions, and guiding proof-of-concept activities to meet customer outcomes.

You will design customer-specific architectures, create BoMs, and drive cross‑architectural design discussions with executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry-related experience.
• BS/BA (EE/CS) or relevant experience.
• Cisco product experience or relevant experience in competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis is required

Responsibilities

• Actively contributes to account planning to align technical strategies with customer objectives.
• Elevates expertise of Cisco’s portfolio and cross-architectural solutions.
• Leads solution conversations with technical executives and demonstrates Cisco solutions.
• Creates BoMs and runs proof of concept activities.
• Collaborates across teams to refine strategic alignment and customer relationships.
