Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking a cleared Senior Audit Support Analyst to join our team supporting a major Federal agency. Duties include audit response, remediation, internal controls, and GAAP compliance for DoD finance processes.

On-site in Alexandria, VA with potential DC travel, you will draft communications, SOPs, and work with government POCs. Requirements include a BS in accounting or related field, 3 years of relevant experience, interim secret clearance, and willingness to travel up to

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive, relevant experience
• Experience working with DoW clients
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with government POCs to perform audit response, audit remediation, internal controls, financial processes, and/or accounting in accordance with GAAP/SFFAS/OMB policies
• Understanding the end-to-end business processes of the Department of the Navy (DON) and applying GAAP
• Executing day-to-day research, analysis, and communication at the direction of the Kearney & Company Team Lead
• Communicating status of project-related tasks to Team Lead
• Drafting/updating communication artifacts (SOPs, Desktop Guides, whitepapers)
• Demonstrating strong customer service skills in high-pressure situations with short deadlines
