Job summary

AWS is seeking Data Center Technicians for its Infra Operations team in the United States. The role focuses on resolving a broad range of data center issues, including hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems, with emphasis on supporting a 24/7 operation from multiple sites.

Candidates must have or obtain the TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Expect hands-on data center tasks, rack deployment and cabling, and incident resolution to keep AWS infrastructure running at scale.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Associate's degree in IT-related field plus two years of progressively responsible experience

Responsibilities

• Engage in physical data center activities including planning and tracking capacity, rack deployment, and rack cabling
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to maintain uptime
• Decommission racks and manage equipment lifecycle
• Manage work across day/night shifts to support 24/7 operations
• Operate in a loud environment and move materials up to 49 pounds
