Socket.dev is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our Infrastructure Operations team in Colorado. You will handle hardware, fiber, networking, and rack-related tasks to keep our world‑class data centers running smoothly.

The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. You may work day or night shifts across multiple sites, with lifting and on‑site physical activities as part of the job.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with server hardware.
• 1+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and track capacity, deploy racks, cabling, and decommission hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software at the data center.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and work in cramped or elevated spaces.
• Work shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations (night/day).
• Engage in physical data center activities with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Take ownership of technical issues and drive resolution across teams.
