Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to support AWS infrastructure operations across multiple sites. You will handle physical data center tasks, from planning capacity to rack deployment and troubleshooting of hardware and network components.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and willingness to work extended shifts in a demanding data center environment. Candidates with CCNA/Network+ certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; IT certs optional.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Experience in data center hardware and networking.

Responsibilities

• Engage in capacity planning and tracking in data centers.
• Deploy racks, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Decommission racks and manage end-to-end equipment lifecycle.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and work in tight or elevated areas.
• Work shifts to support 24/7 operations (night/day, weekends, holidays).
• Maintain safety and adhere to data center protocols.
