Job summary

University of California, Santa Barbara seeks an Assistant Classroom A/V Services Manager to support daily operations of Classroom A/V Services (CAVS) across ~275 instructional spaces. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related area or equivalent experience/training.
• 4+ years in related area/experience.
• 1+ years leading and coordinating staff.
• 2+ years supporting hardware & software installation and troubleshooting.
• 2+ years experience using deployment and management tools.
• 2+ years experience in desktop and A/V support in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal communications skills.
• Proficient Mac/PC, web development, online conferencing, multimedia and presentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of Classroom A/V Services (CAVS).
• Supervise three full-time staff and up to 35 student staff.
• Develop training materials and conduct quarterly training sessions.
• Establish streamlined operational processes with the CAVS Manager.
• Oversee equipment inventory and imaging for Mac and PC platforms.
• Advise on computer replacement cycles and resource utilization.
