Job summary

University of California, Berkeley is seeking an AV Systems Operations Specialist to sustain and enhance AV/UC and production technology across CDSS spaces. The role involves Tier 2/3 support, system health monitoring, and working with Crestron, Zoom Rooms, and DM‑NVX based environments.

You will help maintain over 60 AV-enabled spaces, develop SOPs, and assist with livestreaming and hybrid events. Strong documentation and cross-team coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in enterprise AV/UC environments.
• Strong troubleshooting with Crestron, Zoom Rooms, AV-over-IP, DSP platforms.
• Experience with livestreaming, hybrid events, or production workflows.
• Experience creating SOPs and documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for classrooms and event spaces.
• Monitor system health using vendor portals and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Support maintenance across 60 AV-enabled spaces.
• Assist with firmware updates, testing, inventory and asset management.
• Support Zoom Rooms deployment and Crestron ecosystem.
• Assist with livestreaming and hybrid events.
• Develop SOPs and knowledge transfer materials.
• Other tasks as assigned.
