Job summary

Hardy County Board of Education is seeking a Homeroom/Links teacher at East Hardy High School to oversee junior or senior class activities. A WV Professional Teaching or Student Support Certificate is required, and candidates must successfully complete the Hardy County interview process.

Applicants must complete all county and WVDE trainings and meet the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations. Start date for the 2026-2027 school year is anticipated; salary is $250.00 per position.

Qualifications

• West Virginia Professional Teaching or Student Support Certificate is required.
• Homeroom or Links teacher for the junior or senior classes at East Hardy High School is required.
• Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process.
• Complete all required county and WVDE trainings.
• Ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Applicants with recent unsatisfactory evaluations are not eligible for consideration.
• Applicants with unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
• Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
• Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.
