Job summary

Hardy County Board of Education seeks to appoint co-advisors to oversee National Honor Society activities at East Hardy High School for the 2026-2027 school year. Salary is allocated per position, with two co-advisors required to submit a joint application and acknowledgment to split the salary.

Applicants must hold WV professional teaching or student support certification, be employed at East Hardy High, complete the Hardy County interview process, and finish all county and WVDE trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be employed at East Hardy High School.
• Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process.
• Complete all required county and WVDE trainings.
• The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
• Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
• Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
• Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year.
Salary: $250.00 per position.
Co-advisors must submit a joint application and acknowledgment agreement to split the salary.
