Job summary

Hardy County Board of Education seeks co-advisors to oversee activities preparing students for the Social Studies Fair for the 2026-2027 school year. Salary is $250.00, with joint applications required to split the salary.

Start date: 2026-2027 School Year. Preference given to current East Hardy Elementary School employees; applicants must complete county and WVDE trainings and pass the interview process.

Qualifications

• Must hold West Virginia Professional Teaching or Student Support Certificate.
• Preference given to current employees of East Hardy Elementary School.
• Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process.
• Complete all required county and WVDE trainings.
• The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Additional Minimum Requirements

• Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.


• Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.


• Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.


• Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year.

Salary: $250.00

Co-Advisors must submit a joint application and acknowledgment agreement to split the salary.
