Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join a safety-focused team. The route runs from Lexington, KY to various Midwest locations, averaging 2,800–3,000 miles per week on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Drivers earn an estimated $90,000–$110,000 annually with weekly home time and pay that includes hourly wages for on-duty time plus mileage pay. Benefits include health coverage after 30 days, 401(k) with match, and paid training.

• Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Able to use mobile applications and computer software in daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintains health and safety as top priority and follows safe work practices.
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of units.
• Loads and unloads hazardous/non-hazardous waste and secures loads.
• Places placards in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Maintains logs, time sheets, expenses, dispatch and trip reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
