Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in Akron, OH. This route runs from Akron, OH to El Dorado, AR and averages 2,700–2,900 miles per week, with weekly home time.

You will earn $80–$110K per year, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Compensation includes hourly wages for on-duty non-driving time and mileage pay, with comprehensive benefits after 30 days. Health and safety are priorities, with a 401K match and PTO.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required with at least 12 months of driving experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software for routing and logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor trailer units following DOT regulations.
• Maintain logs, time sheets and trip reports.
• Load/unload as needed and ensure load security.
• Placard vehicle per DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
