Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety‑minded team. This route runs from Cleveland, OH to El Dorado, AR, averaging about 2,800 miles per week.

Drivers earn $80k–$110k per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus and bi‑weekly home time. Responsibilities emphasize health and safety, loading and unloading hazardous and non‑hazardous waste, proper securing of loads, and accurate logs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and comply with all policies while driving.
• Operate tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Manage load security and proper loading/unloading of hazardous waste.
• Plates/placards per DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow DOT rules and company procedures.

About The Role

• Drivers average $80-$110K per year

• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
