Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to safely construct and repair electrical overhead distribution systems. The role involves work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to various sites, and reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include leading crews, training apprentices, installing lines and hardware, and performing live-line work with proper PPE and procedures. Willingness to travel and work overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew members in absence of the Employee in Charge; conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques; troubleshoot faults.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage.
