Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, including energized lines. You will travel to various job sites as needed and report to the Foreman.

The role involves leading crews in the Foreman’s absence, training apprentices, and performing live-line work with proper PPE and safety practices. Jointly, you will work outdoors in diverse conditions and be available for outages and emergencies.

Competenze

• Five (5) years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work outside normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, overtime.

Mansioni

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems, energized or de-energized.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Foreman and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage.
