Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a customer-focused driver with a Class A license to serve Baltimore, MD and surrounding MD/DC areas. You will haul medical waste containers, provide excellent customer service, and ensure deliveries and collections meet the daily schedule.

The role is 3rd shift (5PM to 5AM) with direct hire, full-time hours and a set rate of $32.00 per hour, plus a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation. Safety and DOT compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Class A license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Experience with DOT compliance and logging hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect medical waste containers across MD/DC.
• Operate straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft safely.
• Provide strong customer service and build relationships with customers.
• Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load/unload and organize the truck per schedule needs.
• Comply with DOT regulations and conduct roadside inspections.
