Job summary

Daniels Health in Baltimore is seeking a customer-focused driver with a Class A license to serve the MD/DC area. You will collect sharps/medical waste containers and ensure excellent service at healthcare locations.

The role includes loading/unloading, strict adherence to DOT rules, and communicating schedule changes. The position offers steady daytime hours (M-F, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM), direct hire, and a $30/hour rate plus a $3,000 new-hire bonus after probation.

Qualifications

Valid Class A license with a clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card is required.
Minimum 3 years experience operating straight trucks/tractor trailers up to 53 ft.
Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

Deliver throughout MD/DC in a safe manner.
Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
Provide strong customer service and build customer relationships.
Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate changes clearly.
Load/unload and organize the vehicle per schedule.
Log hours, comply with DOT regulations, and handle roadside inspections.
Push/pull a 200 lb cart as needed.
