Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a driver with a Class A license to operate straight trucks/tractors up to 53 ft across the Baltimore area, collecting medical waste and delivering excellent customer service daily.

The role requires a clean driving record, a valid DOT medical card, and at least 3 years of experience in similar equipment. DOT compliance and safety inspections are part of the job, with the possibility of overtime and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

Class A license with a clean driving record and valid DOT Medical Card.
Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft.
Pass the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
Touch freight experience.

Responsibilities

Delivering throughout MD/DC.
Operate straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft safely.
Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate changes clearly.
Load/unload and organize truck per schedule needs.
Comply with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
Push/pull a four-wheeled cart up to 200 lbs.
