Job summary

Daniels Health is hiring a Class B licensed driver in Baltimore, MD to support medical waste collection and delivery across the MD/DC area. You will operate a 26 ft box truck, load/unload, and provide excellent customer service.

We offer a new hire bonus of $3,000 after probation, full-time employment, and stable hours with starts between 5 AM and 8 AM and ends around 3 PM to 6 PM. Must meet DOT requirements and pass the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Qualifications

• Class B license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Passing the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• Touch freight experience!!!

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout MD/DC.
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes.
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Pushing/pulling a 200 lb cart.
