Job Details

Base pay starts at $31.00 per hour. Shift: Day Shift, Full Time.

Responsibilities

The Driver will be expected to transport, deliver, and/or unload windows and patio door products to customers in a safe and timely manner to dealers, distribution centers, and/or construction job sites using a tractor‑trailer. The position requires safe driving, excellent customer service, overnight trips 2–3 times a week, and 1–2 nights on the road.

• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to inquiries, and make entries on reports/records per DOT Reg 391.11.
• Complete all assigned delivery routes and deliver to local construction job sites; manually offload product.
• Address customer questions, issues and concerns professionally and timely.
• Represent the company professionally in all actions and appearance.
• Adhere to Cascade policies and procedures.
• Complete all delivery and return documentation accurately and legibly.
• Maintain driver logs and conduct inspections.
• Maintain equipment in a neat, clean and organized condition.
• Uphold safety practices per safety handbook and DOT regulations.
• Load and unload trucks and assist others with loading and unloading.
• Do 5 to 12 stops in the Central Washington market.
• Spend 50% of the time loading/unloading and 50% driving.
• Spend one to two nights on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be DOT compliant.
• At least 2 years of tractor‑trailer driving experience, including winter driving; equivalent military experience accepted.
• Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations; handle receipts, maps, and daily logs.
• Ability to follow instructions via on‑board computer system and by phone.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis at shoulder height and below the waist, with or without assistance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively with people in a fast‑paced environment.
