Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a full-time Driver to transport and deliver windows and doors to dealers, distribution centers, and job sites using a tractor-trailer. The role emphasizes safe operation, excellent customer service, and compliance with all regulations.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean MVR, a current Medical Card, and at least 2 years of commercial driving experience. Construction background is a plus, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL License, clean MVR, and current Medical Card.
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable).
• Prior experience in construction field a plus.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver windows and doors to dealers, distribution centers, and job sites using a tractor-trailer.
• Safely assist in loading and unloading products at customer locations.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors.
• Drive truck to destinations in compliance with Federal regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and related records per state and federal rules.
• Answer questions about packing lists, invoices, and packaging; direct customers as needed.

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $34.00-$38.00 per hour
Shift: Full Time Day Shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver our windows and doors to our dealers, distribution centers, and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. This is a hands-onover the roaddelivery driving position.

• Delivery to delegated locations using a Tractor-trailer truck driver to make single and multi-drop deliveries for Cornerstone Building Brands
• Safely assist in the loading and unloading of the product to customer’s location and/ or return products. (Driver will be required to handle the windows and doors)
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors of varying weights
• Drive truck to destinations in accordance with Federal regulations
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speed in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or in tight loading dock areas
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations including driver logs, possible fuel purchases, mileage records, and other records required by law
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle
• Able to answer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, packaging, and material content. If unable to answer specific questions, direct customer to the appropriate contact
• May perform other duties as assigned
