Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a professional over-the-road delivery driver. You will transport and deliver building materials to our dealers, distribution centers and construction sites using a tractor-trailer.

The role emphasizes safe driving, reliability and strong customer service. Base pay starts at $28.00 per hour, with Sunday–Friday shift. Full-time benefits apply from day 1, including medical, dental and vision, PTO and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 acceptable).
• Willing to tarp loads using Conestoga XP Roll Tarp Systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to drive safely and comply with DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to dealers, distribution centers, and job sites using a tractor-trailer.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment.
• Report repairs and maintenance needs promptly.
• Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett.
• Verify loads before leaving facility or job site.
• Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $28.00 per hour. Shift: Sunday – Friday. This position will primarily be over the road with some local deliveries.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our dealers, distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor‑trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top‑notch customer service. This is a hands‑on delivery driving position and some weekends may be required based on business needs.

• Perform pre & post‑trip inspections thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
• Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed
• Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
• Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett
• Verify entire content loads prior to leaving manufacturing facility or job site
• Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience required (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)
• Willing to tarp using Conestoga XP Roll Tarp Systems and strap flatbed loads
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions
