Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a qualified Class A CDL Driver to transport equipment and scrap materials. The driver will adhere to the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental standards and DOT regulations while maintaining logs and documenting deliveries. Strong attention to detail and reliable communication with dispatch are essential.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load securement, and safe operation of tractor-trailer/yard equipment. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Medical Exam Card.
• Ability to operate tractor-trailer and related equipment.
• Must follow DOT regulations and company HSE standards.
• Experience reading and following dispatch instructions.
• Maintain logs of hours and vehicle service per regulations.
• Secure loads with ropes, chains or covers.
• Respond to dispatch instructions and deliver/receive material.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer or truck to transport equipment and materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Maintain accurate logs of hours, inspections, and servicing.
• Receive instructions from dispatch and deliver to specified locations.
• Secure loads and monitor material safety during transport.
• Provide backup or support in yard operations as needed.
