Job summary

Radius Recycling seeks a Class A CDL Driver to transport equipment and materials to supplier, customer, storage, or processing locations while complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and DOT regulations.

The Driver will operate tractor trailers or trucks (≥26,000 GVW), perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate logs. Some overtime may be required; duties include yard support and back-up as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Medical Examiner’s Certificate and ability to obtain renewed certificate required.
• Twenty-Four (24) months verifiable Class A driving experience in last five years.
• No more than two moving violations in last three years.
• No more than one preventable accident in last three years.
• Must be registered in FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Ability to use automated systems for logs and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Move freight and materials to and from production areas and loading docks.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions with signals from loading crew.
• Secure material for transport using ropes, blocks, or covers.
• Receive instructions from dispatch and proceed to delivery or receipt of material.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles.
• Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repairs per regulations.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered materials and ensure documentation is complete.

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s license

Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate
