Job summary

Oak Harbor Freight Lines, Inc. is hiring Line Drivers in the Pacific Northwest region. Expect competitive mileage pay between $0.67–$0.76 per mile, plus $0.03 per mile for triples, plus hourly pay of $28.87–$32.64 depending on experience and location.

Positions involve driving tractor-trailer combinations, weekend/nights as needed, and benefits selection of medical/dental/vision plans. We reward reliability and safety with overtime opportunities, PTO and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• CDL Class A with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements.
• At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with similar equipment.
• Doubles/triples & chaining experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid DOT Medical Certification.
• Clean driving record (no DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in 3 years).
• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and dispatch.
• Basic English reading, writing and verbal communication.
• Medical, dental, vision plans available.
• Employee pays up to 2% of gross income; family pays up to 4%.
• 401K match of 100% on the first 5% contribution.
• Accrue 80 hours of PTO within first 11 months.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor trailer between terminals or meet points.
• Adapt to weather and road conditions.
• Meet reliability standards for employees.
• Chain as needed; chaining experience preferred.
• Work weekends and/or nights if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Competitive Mileage Pay:

• Earn between $0.67 to $0.76 per mile. Plus, you get an extra $0.03 per mile for triples.
• Get compensated for every drop, hook, CHAINING, and fuel.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to chain as needed and to work in inclement weather is required.
• Availability to work weekends and/ or nights if needed.

Requirements:

• At least 21 years old
