Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! We have 200 company drivers who keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, providing high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Volvo is the safest truck on the road! Equipped with ergonomic seats, perfect steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site repair facility and wash bay available.

Pay

Start pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional compensation for detention, layover, and other factors. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some areas may allow longer stretches out with up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring in writing. Special requests for time off are accommodated when possible.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop and hook. Other freight involves 1 pick-1 drop loads, mostly dry van and reefer (climate-controlled). No routes to NY City, ports, or borders. Most loads are in the US middle corridor, avoiding west of Denver and major ports.

Rider & Canine Policies

One passenger 12 years or older is allowed from day one. Pet policy allows 2 small or 1 large dog with a $500 fee, paid off via weekly deduction. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
