Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! We have 200 company drivers who keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together, we can get things done.

Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomically designed seats, perfectly positioned steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, on-site repair, and wash bays.

Pay

- Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. There are no holdbacks.

Home Time

- Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days in our area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon before hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments. While drivers do not accrue days off weekly, we strive to accommodate individual needs.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over half is drop and hook; the rest is 1 pick-1 drop. We primarily haul dry van and reefer freight, mostly in the US middle corridor. No NY City, no force dispatch west of Denver, CO, ports, or borders. Most freight is on major highways, with a mix of contracted dry van and reefer loads. No dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider & Canine Policies

- 1 passenger 12 years or older, available from day 1. Pet fee of $500 for small or large dogs; deduction of $100 weekly until paid. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
