Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation is seeking a full-time Pick-up and Delivery Driver to service customers with timely, damage-free freight delivery. You will operate commercial vehicles, load/unload freight, and maintain regulatory records while building strong customer relations.

Qualified applicants have a Class A CDL with HazMat endorsements, at least one year of driving experience, and proficient English. The role offers comprehensive benefits and the opportunity to work with a respected carrier.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years or older.
• Class A Interstate Commercial Drivers' License with hazardous materials and double/triple endorsements.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without assistance.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts and tally sheets.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors and operate landing gear.
