AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a reliable Pick-up and Delivery Driver to safely operate commercial motor vehicles and deliver freight on time.

The role requires a Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, a year of driving experience, and compliance with DOT requirements. You will load, unload, inspect equipment, fuel trucks, and maintain accurate shipment records while building professional relationships with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years or older.
• Class A Interstate Commercial Drivers' License with hazardous materials and double/triple endorsements.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Pass ACT road test.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.
• Have working knowledge of all DOT regulations that govern your job.
• Be able to operate a motor vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without assistance.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading and receipts.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations between our company and customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers and raise/lower landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform all other work related duties as assigned.
