Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation seeks a full-time Pick-up and Delivery Driver to safely operate commercial vehicles and deliver freight on time while staying compliant with DOT regulations. You will load/unload, document shipments, and maintain strong customer relations.

The role requires a Class A license with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, 1 year of driving experience, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read, write, and understand English well.
• Experience with DOT regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock.
• Record shipments using bills of lading and receipts.
• Maintain records for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operation.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
