Come and join our team at this 605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center (OKC Thunder), the Oklahoma Convention Center, and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.

Job Description

The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is looking for an experienced full-time Class 1 (Experienced) Maintenance Engineer. This role involves maintaining and repairing major hotel equipment, providing guest service, and serving as one of the hotel’s First Responders in emergencies. The engineer will support the Engineering Supervisor and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of equipment and components.
• Maintain all refrigeration, HVAC, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
• Work independently with mechanical, thermal, chemical, and electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Operate and repair refrigerants, pressurized systems, pumps, and welding equipment.
• Use hand tools and PPE safely; perform work in various environments.
• Work with building systems like telephone, Internet, door locks, automation, and work order systems.
• Prioritize tasks, respond promptly to house calls, and document work.
• Maintain inventory, understand emergency procedures, and follow safety rules.
• Perform preventive maintenance and detect developing issues.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous maintenance/engineering experience, preferably in a large hotel.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
• Specialist in at least 2 areas.
• Familiar with guest requests, trend analysis, and English communication.
• At least 2 certifications, including EPA Refrigerant handling.
