Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a senior claims leader to supervise a Workers' Compensation claims team, guiding workload, performance, and strategic direction across multiple jurisdictions. The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and client partnership.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices, drive talent development, and maintain high-quality service delivery in a remote-ready environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience
• Licensed in all states where claims are handled
• Knowledge of all team member related functions
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred

Overview

• Claims Background: 10+ years of related claims experience handling workers compensation
• Prior leadership experience: Minimum of 2 years prior leadership/people management experience in a claims environment required
• Jurisdictional experience: Michigan, Indiana
• Licenses: Must be licensed in states being handled or reciprocal.
• Location: This role is eligible for fully remote work.

Promote Best Practices:Guide claimsteam tohandle claimsin accordance withGB’s Best Practices.

Drive Talent:Take charge of adjuster hiring and training, encouraging a culture of performance and continuous improvement.

Manage Workloads:Define team goals, motivate performance, and effectively manage workloads to ensureoptimalefficiency.

Utilize Technology:Harness the power of Gallagher's technology to enhance your team's efficiency and overall quality of service.

Client Communication:Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner.

Prioritize and Develop:Effectively manage multiple competing priorities,identifycoaching opportunities, and position team members for successful development.

About You

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
• Knowledge of all team member related functions
