Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Leader to supervise a dedicated team of adjusters, handling diverse caseloads and delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.

Responsibilities

• Supervise: Lead and encourage a Workers' Compensation claims team handling a variety of caseloads to deliver high-quality and efficient service.
• Promote Best Practices: Guide claims team to handle claims in accordance with GB’s Best Practices.
• Drive Talent: Take charge of adjuster hiring and training, encouraging a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Manage Workloads: Define team goals, motivate performance, and effectively manage workloads to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Utilize Technology: Harness Gallagher's technology to enhance team efficiency and service quality.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers professionally and proactively.
• Prioritize and Develop: Manage multiple priorities, identify coaching opportunities, and position team members for development.

Overview

• Claims Background: 5-10 years of prior workers compensation adjusting experience in a TPA/Carrier environment.
• Prior leadership experience: Minimum of 2 years prior leadership/people management experience in a claims environment required.
• Jurisdictional experience: IL, MO, IA, WI, MN, IN
• Licenses: Must be licensed in states being handled or reciprocal.
• Location: This role is eligible for fully remote work.

About You

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Minimum of 10 years related claims experience

Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled

Knowledge of all team member related functions
