Job summary

Wilber Group in Bloomington, IL seeks self-driven collectors for a full-time role on our Recovery team. You will handle outbound calls, explain claims, and work to recover assets while earning uncapped commissions.

The base wage starts at $19/hour, with $21/hour for bilingual Spanish speakers, plus growth and bonuses. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, with strong communication and the ability to deescalate conflicts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to customers/debtors informing of claims filed.
• Provide clarity on filed claims and answer inquiries.
• Process payments via card and ACH accurately.
• Notate conversations and payments in files.
• Negotiate repayment plans to recover assets for clients.
• Learn company software and applicable laws to ensure compliance.

We are looking for self-driven, trainable, and professional individuals to join our Recovery team! Your main responsibility as a Full-Time collector is to take/place calls, find solutions and recover assets for clients. Our collectors start with a base pay of $19 an hour ($21 if bilingual in Spanish) along with uncapped commissions and possible bonus incentives.New team members typically reach an average of $1,100 in commission each month during their first year, actual commissions may vary per person.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to customers/debtors informing of claim filed against them
• Provide clarity on filed claims and answer any inquiries from customers
• Accurately process payments via card and ACH (electronic check payment)
• Accurately notate files of conversations had and payments received
• Negotiate repayment and financial plans to recover assets for clients
• Learn and apply provided materials on company software, applicable laws and statutes, and industry standards to ensure compliance and optimize recovery.
• Ability to ensure physical presence at assigned location
