Wilber Group in Newark, Ohio, is seeking a full-time collector to join our Recovery team. The role involves making outbound calls, guiding debtors, and processing payments while aiming to recover assets for clients.

Base pay starts at $19 per hour, with $21 per hour if bilingual in Spanish, plus uncapped commissions and potential bonuses. High attention to detail and strong communication are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to inform debtors of filed claims and provide clarity on inquiries.
• Process payments via card and ACH and accurately notation conversations and payments.
• Negotiate repayment plans to recover assets for clients.
• Learn and apply company materials on software, laws, and industry standards to ensure compliance.

Wilber is looking for new collectors to join our Great Place to Work Certified office in Newark, Ohio! We are looking for self-driven, trainable, and professional individuals to join our Recovery team! Your main responsibility as a Full-Time collector is to take/place calls, find solutions and recover assets for clients. Our Collectors start with a base pay of $19 an hour ($21 if bilingual in Spanish) along with uncapped commissions and possible bonus incentives.New team members typically earn on average $1,100 in commission each month during their first year, actual commissions may vary per person.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to customers/debtors informing of claim filed against them
• Provide clarity on filed claims and answer any inquiries from customers
• Accurately process payments via card and ACH (electronic check payment)
• Accurately notate files of conversations had and payments received
• Negotiate repayment and financial plans to recover assets for clients
• Learn and apply provided materials on company software, applicable laws and statutes, and industry standards to ensure compliance and optimize recovery.
• Ability to ensure physical presence at assigned location
