Qualifications

• Must obtain resident adjuster license within 90 days of start date.
• Must complete non-resident adjust license requirements within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Date stamp and verify submitted claims and supporting documents to approve or deny claims.
• Monitor claims for which premium payments have not been received.
• Issue and follow up on requests for missing documentation.
• Communicate with customers regarding the status and investigation of claims.
• Work with producers regarding coverage issues.
• Prepare approved claims for payment.
• Salvage maintenance and related calls/tags.
• Maintain salvage inventory and arrange for disposal where appropriate.
• File and store claims according to retention guidelines.
• Participate in general office duties (kitchen duties, calls, mail, scanning).
