Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Claims Analyst to join our growing team. The primary role is to support day-to-day claims administration and service needs for an assigned book of TPA business, working with a Team Leader or Account Executive as needed.

You will review claims for coverage and reserve adequacy, monitor activity and milestones, escalate high‑severity matters, coordinate with adjusters, carriers and vendors, and prepare reports. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in claims administration, handling or analysis.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty claims and loss run data.
• Ability to follow process and procedures guidance.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with claim data.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Review new and open claims for coverage and reserve adequacy.
• Monitor claim activity and milestones to move toward resolution.
• Identify large or high-severity claims and escalate.
• Coordinate with adjusters, carriers and vendors.
• Serve as daily contact for client questions.
• Support claim intake and loss reporting within timeframes.
• Respond to information requests from clients and carriers.
• Update the system of record with conversations and documents.
• Prepare for claim reviews with clients and follow up on actions.
• Obtain and reconcile loss data from carrier/TPA systems.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc claim reports.
• Build relationships with carrier reps and vendors.
• Escalate service issues and resolve with Team Leader.
