Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. is seeking a Claims Analyst to support day-to-day claims administration for an assigned book of TPA business. The role emphasizes claim file review, data analysis, and communication with clients, carriers, adjusters, and vendors.

This position requires adherence to company processes and data integrity in the system of record. You will review claims for coverage, monitor activity and milestones, escalate high-severity items, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to drive

Qualifications

• 2+ years of claims administration or analysis experience.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty claims and loss data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review new and open claims for coverage, reserve adequacy, and proper handling, escalating as needed.
• Monitor claim activity, diary dates and milestones to move files toward resolution.
• Identify large, litigated or high-severity claims and report to client and carrier.
• Coordinate with adjusters, carriers and third-party vendors on status, settlement authority, and subrogation.
• Serve as primary contact for daily claim questions and documentation needs from clients.
• Support claim intake and first notice of loss processes and ensure timely reporting.
• Respond to information requests and update policy/coverage questions with Account Manager team.
• Prepare for and participate in client claim reviews and action-item follow-ups.
• Obtain, validate and reconcile loss runs and claim data as needed.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc claim reports and trend analyses.
