Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking a Claims Management Training Coordinator for the CMG Business Office to lead onboarding and ongoing training for new hires in revenue cycle functions.

You will coordinate with department leadership, deliver classroom and floor training, assess employee quality, and support performance improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and payer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: degree preferred in HIM, Coding, Finance, Business or Healthcare; combination considered.
• Minimum 3+ years in healthcare revenue cycle (billing, precert, registration, HIM, coding and billing, claims management/insurance follow up or appeals).
• Licensure: none

Responsibilities

• Assists with onboarding new hires through orientation and education modules.
• Coordinates with leadership to develop and maintain training materials and floor training after onboarding.
• Maintains progress checklists and reports new employee progress to leadership.
• Supports quality audits and performance improvement initiatives within the department.
• Ensures compliance with State/Federal regulations, HIPAA, and payer requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
