Job summary

The Plymouth Rock Company in the United States is seeking a Claims Technician to be the policyholder’s first point of contact after an auto or homeowner loss. You will report incidents, gather information by phone, and begin the claims process with precision.

Responsibilities include entering accident details into a proprietary system, deciding on claim routing, and alerting the claim office of serious injuries or large losses, all while delivering excellent customer service in a team

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Proficient computer skills are required.
• Ability to work in a team environment is required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Report accidents policyholders have been involved in by obtaining information over the phone.
• Input accident information into a proprietary system.
• Make decisions on whether or not to re-route a claim or to alert the claim office of a serious injury or major loss.
