Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance is seeking a Customer Service & Claims Associate in Boston to deliver exceptional service across phone, email, text, and chat. You will handle policy inquiries, assist after auto accidents, and file claims, all while building a positive customer experience.

No prior insurance experience is required; extensive training is provided to grow knowledge of auto insurance products, systems, and service practices. This full-time role offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of overall work experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen actively, show empathy, and support customers with patience and tact.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address customer needs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting a growing customer base.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in customer service practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers, agents, and reporting parties across multiple channels (phone, email, text, chat).
• Serve as the initial point of contact following auto accidents and assist with policy questions.
• Create new auto claims files and hand off to claims experts with clear information.
• Confirm initial coverage details and provide concise information to customers.
• Update and maintain customer, policy, and claim information accurately.
• Build positive relationships with customers, agents, and peers.
• Adapt to changing processes, systems, and customer needs.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while upholding quality service.
