Job summary

Encova Insurance invites motivated students to join our summer internship program for 2027. This full-time internship requires availability of at least 40 hours per week, with start and end dates based on business needs.

The position offers a competitive $18 per hour wage and opportunities to gain real-world claims processing experience. Qualified candidates must be enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.
• Strong customer service and communication skills desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Receive initial claim information from customers via telephone, email, or fax.
• Provide information on loss reporting options and determine applicable policy coverage.
• Onboard new associates with leadership team and triage claim information to determine next steps.
• Respond to requests from internal and external customers and document information in the system.
