Mapfre offers a paid 10-week Summer Internship Program in the Claims area, running June 7 to August 13, 2027. As a Claims Innovation Intern, you will shadow professionals, observe real-world scenarios in office and field settings, and work on a project that enhances processes and customer experience.

You'll gain insight into auto damage, coverage reviews, and technology like Guidewire, while developing skills through mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree
• Majoring in Business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in business, technology, analytics, customer experience, or insurance.
• Coding, programming, or data analytics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Claims professionals across multiple functions and specialties.
• Observe real-world claim situations and customer interactions in office and field environments.
• Gain exposure to auto physical damage, coverage reviews, liability investigations, and Claims technology, including Guidewire.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experiences.
• Collaborate on an innovation-focused project with Claims professionals.
• Participate in mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities.
