JOB TITLE : Claims and Shipments Coordinator

Job Code : SCN912-Logistics Coordinator 1

This role is not eligible for relocation. Eligible candidates must be within a commutable distance to Evans, Georgia.

Club Car boasts a 60+ year history of industry-leading innovation and design, initially focused on golf cars and then expanding to commercial utility vehicles and personal-use transportation.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs multiple clerical and office related functions to accurately and efficiently monitor and resolve shipment and freight payment claims for parts and completes as well as Club Car equipment damages. Prepares shipment documentation (pick lists, RGAs, driver packets, etc.) for outbound shipments. Provides backup on the telephones. Receives phone calls from various sources and provides feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluates and researches new car claims filed through DSI process (ETQ) to determine responsibility.
  • Processes freight cargo claims with carriers as deemed responsible while maintaining records through closure.
  • Communicates findings internally as needed and works with the Logistics Teams to share findings.
  • Actively works with Logistics Teams to validate claims and ensure process improvements are being recognized and work instructions are being followed and updated as needed.
  • Participates in weekly Quality Meetings to review DSI claims for new car shipments.
  • Works with Aftermarket Teams (CCDC) for inbound supplier shipments and outbound shipments retuned by carriers to determine reason for damage and return.
  • Participates with CFIT team for Aftermarket (CCDC) shipments to determine responsibility for DSI claims.
  • Processes carrier claims for CCDC shipments as deemed necessary.
  • Audit freight payment invoices for variances based on expected payment versus actual payment.
  • Dispute invoices with carriers that are out of range and fall under carrier responsibility.
  • Communicate audit findings internally and share with the Logistics Teams as needed for process and standard work review and update.
  • Oversee local pickup and delivery operation, including shuttles, yard operation, trailer shuttles
  • Schedule and dispatch local delivery drivers for daily routes
  • Monitor driver locations and delivery status using GPS and dispatch software
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates on delivery status

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides back up for Shipment Coordinator.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education :

  • High School Diploma / Equivalent required.

Experience :

  • 2+ years in logistics environment
  • Knowledge of TMS and Logistics Software
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and other shipping software
  • AS400 experience
