Zusammenfassung

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a Claims Advocate in Birmingham, AL to support our Construction industry clients. The role emphasizes client impact within a high-retention, collaborative team culture and a strong work ethic.

You’ll handle end-to-end claims, provide technical guidance, and work with clients, adjusters, and carriers. A proven communicator with claims experience will fit well in our hybrid in-office environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as deemed by EPIC
• 2+ years’ casualty claims or related experience requested
• IRMI CRIS designation expected within one year of hire

Aufgaben

• Manage all phases of a claim including coverage evaluation, loss notice prep, and reporting to carrier with timely follow-up
• Provide technical responses to inquiries from clients, adjusters, TPAs, producers, and defense counsel
• Establish, maintain, and review claim files in accordance with service commitments
• Monitor treatment protocols and advise on return-to-work opportunities and settlements
• Assist with client needs assessments to establish reporting procedures
• Schedule and participate in formal claims reviews and client presentations
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and operations
• Identify trends to develop strategies for reducing or mitigating claims
• Maintain knowledge of insurance contracts and industry trends; attend seminars and training
• Interact professionally and conduct business per established policies
