Job summary

Travelers is seeking a claims associate in Morristown, NJ, to support customer engagement and accurate processing of claim-related tasks. You will work under supervision with claim professionals, handling inquiries, document management, and routine financial activities.

Main duties include triaging calls, documenting claims, processing payments, and maintaining data and reports to assist claims teams. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a bachelor’s degree or related experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of service-related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, email and database software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as customer service representative for the claim department, answering questions and guiding to the right department.
• Document and route claims, review reports, and assist with claim file preparation and transitions.
• Process claim payments and vendor-related expenses with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain accurate data and generate reports for management and operations.
• Support financial controls and data reconciliations within the claim center.
